Fundamental-harmonic phase shift compensation in an intracavity frequency doubled Nd:YLF laser
Abstract
We demonstrate a simple method for controlling the fundamental-harmonic phase shift in standing wave intracavity frequency doubled lasers. The technique takes advantage of the dispersion in glass rather than that of air, requiring only the rotation of a glass block through a few degrees in order to compensate for phase shifts of up to π.
