A revised calculation of apparent velocity in the relativistic beaming model

Current calculation of the apparent velocity of plasmons or shocks in the relativistic beaming model is based on the assumption that the core is fixed in a rest frame with respect to the observer. Improved observations cast doubt on this assumption. Revised forms of the relevant formulae in a more general frame are given.
