Gamma-ray Burst Observations with BATSE
Abstract
I will review here the results of ~6 years of Gamma-Ray Burst Observations with the Burst And Transient Source Experiment (BATSE) onboard the Compton Gamma-ray Observatory (CGRO). I will describe the latest results on temporal and spectral analysis of the ~1700 GRBs, as well as their spatial properties and their implications. Finally, I will discuss the ongoing project to provide rapid GRB locations to the community using BATSE triggers via BACODINE.
