Performance simulations of a daylight low-order adaptive optics system with speckle postprocessing for observation of low-earth orbit satellites
Abstract
Computer simulations are used to demonstrate the feasibility of operating a low-order adaptive optics system for observation of bright low-earth orbiting satellites during daylight hours. The system considered includes speckle postprocessing of partially compensated focal plane images to produce reconstructions with resolution near the diffraction limit of the telescope.
