Heavy quarkonia masssplittings in QCD: Test of the 1/ mexpansion and estimates of < α _{s}G ^{2}> and α _{s}
Abstract
This talk is based on the paper hepph/9512348 (to appear in Phys. Lett.B), which will be referred as SN. I present a more refined analysis of the masssplittings between the different heavy quarkonia states, using new double ratios of exponential moments of different twopoint functions. Then, I test the validity of the 1/ mexpansion, extract α _{s}( M _{z}) = 0.127 ± 0.011 from M(P11)M(P13), and provide a new estimate of the gluon condensate from M _{ψ}  M _{ηc} and M _{χb}  M_{ϒ}, which combined with the recent estimate from the τlike decay sum rules in e^{+}e^{} → I = 1 hadrons data, leads to the update average value < α _{s}G ^{2}> = (7.1 ± 0.9) × 10 ^{2} GeV ^{4} from the light and heavy quark systems. I also find M_{y} — M _{ηb} ≈ 63 _{+51}^{29} MeV implying the possible observation of the η _{b} in the radiative decay.
