The interaction between Herbig-Haro jets and molecular gas in L1617

We have studied the regions around two Herbig--Haro jets (HH 110 and HH 111) in L1617 in a number of millimeter transitions using the SEST. Whereas HH 111 is associated with a molecular outflow, the HH 110 jet is not. Through a comparative study of the two systems we aim at clarifying the physical conditions of their molecular environment and understanding the possibly different driving mechanisms at work. In this poster paper we present our data, a more detailed analysis will be presented in a forthcoming paper.
