Observations of HCO^+ and H 13 CO^+ toward the molecular cloud around HH 1-2 VLA 1

We observed the high density molecular core around the driving source of the Herbig-Haro object HH 1-2 with HCO^+ 3-2 and 4-3 at CSO and with H¹³CO^+ 1-0 at BIMA. The molecular core is elongated in the NE-SW direction, which is roughly perpendicular to the HH 1-2 axis. We suggest that this elongation is a disklike structure around VLA 1/2 system, viewed edge-on.
