The interplanetary scintillation observations are carried out at several frequencies around the world. One such system is operative at 103 MHz at Rajkot. We made observations of few radio sources regularly and analyzed the observations using diffractive-refractive scattering approach. The approach is used to study interplanetary scintillation for the first time, eventhough, the approach has previously been used quite extensively in studies of other scintillation phenomena in nature. The study gives information on plasma irregularities in the solar heliosphere. The Poster describe in some detail the method, in addition to discussing the results. Plasma disturbances associated with solar bursts have also been investigated, and one finds effects in terrestrial magnetic observations. The Poster will also describe these results.
