Vibrational spectrum of Sanocrysin
Abstract
The FT-IR and Raman spectra of pure and partially deuterated Na 3[Au(S 2O 3) 2]·2H 2O, the inorganic drug Sanocrysin, have been recorded and assigned on the basis of its known crystal structure. Internal vibrations of the thiosulfate ligands, and internal as well as librational modes of the water molecules are discussed in detail. Also, the AuS stretchings have been clearly identified.
