The Astrophysics Multispectral Archive Search Engine (AMASE) is an online data-locating service built using object- oriented data base (OODB) methodology which allows NASA multi-mission data archives to be searched easily by scientific parameters. In the past year, we have extended the sky, object, spectral, and mission coverage of the database. The astronomical classification scheme has been enriched. Missions like Alexis, ASCA, IUE, and others have been added, as well as the ADC Catalogs. The nearest neighbor search algorithm has been implemented and development of sorting and visualization capabilities are underway. We are developing capabilities to interoperate with other data providers to create "virtual metadata objects". We will describe the new capabilities to the astronomical community and solicit collaborations from data providers.
