Results on hyperon production in hadronic Z 0 decays and on the Ω c, lifetime and decay branching ratios are presented. The results on decuplet baryon production in hadronic Z 0 decays cannot be explained in the framework of the Lund model (JETSET and HERWIG programs). New results in the charm baryon sector are the measurement of the Ω c, lifetime, τ(Ω c) = 55 ± 24 fs, and first estimates of Ω c decay branching ratios into final states containing an Ω, Ξ - or Λ. The lifetime of the Ω c turns out to be somewhat shorter than expected in existing calculations. The branching ratios of the observed multi-body final states cannot be described in the Lund model (PYTHIA program).
