Numerical simulation of an Epstein frame used for anisotropy measurements
Abstract
An Epstein frame used for measurement of the anisotropic behavior of grain oriented sheets is simulated by the finite element method and the coenergy model to account for the material's behavior. Because of the strong demagnetizing fields, neither the field magnitude nor its direction are controlled, making this kind of measurement difficult to interpret.
