Dynamic drive of semiconductor injection lasers compensating thermal drift
Abstract
Pulse-driven injection lasers exhibit generally high tuning rates, which are thermally produced. To bring about high precision resolution power in spectroscopic application, the tuning rate should be reduced. In this paper, it is proposed to do this by current-induced changes in the refractive index of the laser resonator.
