Spectral types for objects in the Kiso survey. X. Data for 156 objects.
Abstract
Spectral types for 156 objects originally found in the Kiso Schmidt ultraviolet excess survey are reported. The observations were made at the Michigan - Dartmouth MIT Observatory on Kitt Peak with the Mark III spectrograph and CCD detectors attached to the 2.4 m Hiltner and 1.3 m McGraw-Hill telescopes during 1993 and 1994. The original spectra cover approximately the λλ4200-8800 Å spectral range at 9 Å resolution. Interesting objects reported include: 39 subdwarfs, 26 DA, 3 DB, and 3 DQ white dwarfs, and 57 QSO and emission-line objects. Some of the more peculiar objects are described in the text.
