Metrology on stamps

Philately could be an effective aid in the teaching not only of physics but also of metrology. Indeed, a great number of countries all over the world have issued many stamps on metrology, enhancing both the importance of the International System of Units and of the scientists after whom units have been named. We have exploited this theme to show how to develop a new strategy with the aim of creating a deeper interest in our science students.
