Computed infrared absorption properties of hot water vapour.
Abstract
Using first principles quantum mechanics the authors have computed a list of 6.2 million infrared transitions for H216O. This dataset is used to study the absorption properties of water as a function of temperature between 300 and 3000 K. Comparison is made with experimental data of Ludwig (1971) and the 30,117 lines contained in the HITRAN database.
