UBVRI-observations of variability of Seyfert galaxies NGC 1275 and NGC 4151 nuclei. Rapid flares on light curves of the galaxy NGC 1275.
Results of simultaneous photometric five-colour observations of the Seyfert galaxies NGC 1275 and NGC 4151 obtained during the years 1989 - 1991 are reported. From the beginning in 1989 fluxes of NGC 4151 have been increased in all five filters showing light variations within dozens and hundred days. Colour indexes followed variations of the light curve and indicated the common tendency of the galaxy to become blue with brightening. The NGC 1275 long photometric minimum has been continued since the end of the seventies and only small brightness fluctuations are observed. The behaviour of its colour indexes seems to be the same. Analyzing NGC 1275 light curves within one night the authors discovered rapid flares of two types.
