Tilted cold dark matter spectrum and observable structure of the universe
Abstract
In order to solve the many difficulties faced by the standard CDM model for structure formation, we examine a tilted density fluctuation spectrum. On the basis of BBKS perturbation field theory, we calculate the mass functions of groups and clusters of galaxies and compare the results with the most recent observations. We also analyze and calculate the density variation on various scales of the voids. The results show that the tilted spectrum can relax the difficulties in these respects while satisfying the constraints set by the COBE observations.
