The influences of the rotation and radiation on the stability of stellar atmospheres are analysed for the case of hot supergiants and normal MS stars. Also estimated is the expected value of the turbulent acceleration in the atmospheres of supergiants on the stability margin. In the analysis the observational material concerning the masses, radii and rotational velocities of stars are used.
