L'astrolabe du ROA. Observations du Soleil EN 1992. Observations of the Sun at the ROA astrolabe in 1992.
Abstract
The results of an observational campaign of the Sun are reported. During the period 1992 April to end of August, 190 solar side transits (including 37 complete Sun crossings) were observed with the 60deg standard angle device APP in place of the prism. Reductions were made in the new 1984 IAU constants system and the VSOP82 Sun theory. The mean value found for the semidiameter reduced to one astronomical unit is s=958.54+/-0.12" and for right ascension: {DELTA}α=-0.016+/-0.008s.
