Spectroscopic properties of the solvated electron in water, alcohols, amines, ethers and alkanes
Abstract
The near-IR and visible absorption spectra of solvated electrons in water, alcohols, amines, ethers and alkanes were calculated in terms of the electron-vibron coupling and compared with experiment. The role of the H-bond is discussed.
