Model of isotropic d-wave pairing in UPt3
Abstract
A phenomenological model is proposed for describing the H - T - P phase diagram of heavy-fermion superconductor UPt3. In this model UPt3 is a nearly isotropic d-wave superconductor whose transition temperature is split slightly by the crystal field. This model has the quantitative and qualitative agreement with all known experim The parameters values used are close to those predicted by weak-coupling theory.
