Magnetically modulated resistance measurements of epitaxial thin films of YBa 2Cu 3O 7-x
Abstract
The current and field dependence of the magnetically modulated electrical resistance of epitaxial thin films of YBa 2Cu 3O 7- y on LaAlO 3 is reported. A previous model which explained results on bulk sintered material is reformulated in terms of the normalized parameters of current, field, and weak-link distribution and the calculated response is consistent with the data. Additionally, the calculated responses provide useful guidelines for interpreting the magnetically modulated resistance data using a weak-link model.
