Ten years of the Tokyo Photoelectric Meridian Circle (Tokyo PMC): an activity report for the years from 1982 to 1993.
Abstract
The pursuits of the meridian astronomy group which has been working with the Tokyo Photoelectric Meridian Circle for the past ten years are presented, including the descriptions about the early works in the installation stage of the Tokyo PMC and observational activities. Other astronomical contributions of the group in the field of galactic kinematics are given. The development of a new CCD micrometer and future observational plans are discussed.
