Nouvel Holocentridae (Pisces, Beryciformes) du Priabonien de Brendola (Italie)
Abstract
The only and first vertebrate of the Priabonian outcrop of Brendola (Italy) has just been discovered. It is a fishbelonging to the family Holocentridae. It differs from the Italian genera from the Tertiary (Monte Bolca) and is a new record in the history of this family known from the Upper Cretaceous up to now. Additions are given on one of the palaeoenvironment at Priabonian time in the Colli Berici, according to the data already deduced from the microfauna.
