Magic and charm: A novel approach to tip-tilt adaptive optics
Abstract
The utility of tip-tilt correction in the near infrared is briefly discussed. A Camera High Angular Resolution Module (CHARM) was developed as a simple add-on to the Max-Plank Institute (MPI) for Astronomy General Purpose Infrared Camera (MAGIC). A discussion of the tip-tilt approach and the advantages of this method are presented.
