Nongray radiative interactions in entry region flows with variable properties
Abstract
The entrance region flow between parallel plates is investigated numerically and the variation of fluid properties with temperature is considered. The effect of variable properties for both laminar and turbulent flows is presented. Laminar flows are found to be affected to a larger extent than turbulent flows, as far as the effect of variable properties are concerned.
