Improved mean positions and proper motions for the 995 FK4stars not included in the FK5 extension

Within the work on the Fifth Fundamental Catalogue improved mean positions and proper motions were obtained for all stars in the FK4 Supplement catalogue. The present catalogue provides the results for the 995 FK4 Supplement stars which were not included in the FK5, Part II (FK5 Extension) mainly because of their poorer history of observation. The average precision of the mean positions is 0.0023 sec in right ascension at the mean epoch 1962.1, 0.049 arcsec in declination at 1957.2, and the centennial proper motion errors are 0.0162 sec and 0.279 arcsec in right ascension and declination, respectively. The data are on the FK5 system and in the IAU (1976) System of Astronomical Constants.
