Radiation resistance of nonsymmetric coplanar lines located on a longitudinally magnetized ferrite plate
Abstract
Approximate calculations are made of the radiation resistance of nonsymmetric coplanar lines for spin-wave microwave electronic devices, with allowance made for the effect of magnetized ferrite on current distribution. The method does not require cumbersome calculations and is valid over the entire frequency range of the existence of surface magnetostatic waves localized near the ferrite-metal boundary. The method can be used for the engineering calculation of various surface magnetostatic wave devices using nonsymmetric coplanar line segments as transducers.
