NonGaussian distribution in random advection dynamics
Abstract
A discrete model of random transport is analyzed both numerically and theoretically. NonGaussian fluctuations are always realized when a finite portion is transported at a time. Gaussian and powerlaw fluctuations appear in extreme limits.
