A new representation of the generalized oscillator strength for boundfree transitions in hydrogenlike systems
Abstract
The ratio of the generalized to optical oscillator strengths for boundfree transitions in hydrogenlike systems is expressed as a function of two angles θ and φ. For all physically attainable values of the momentum transfer K^{2}a^{2}_{0} and of the energy κ ^{2} ħ ^{2}/2 m of the ejected electron both θ and φ vary over a finite range only ( π+φ⩾θ⩾φ, {1}/{2}π⩾θ⩾ {1}/{2}π ).
