a Relativistic Coordinate Space Hartree Finite Nucleus Calculation with AN Interaction that Simulates Short Range Correlation Effects.
Abstract
Relativistic coordinate space quasiparticle model calculations of finite nuclei are presented in the Hartree approach. The pseudoparticle two-body interaction, developed by the Brooklyn College group to fit relativistic Brueckner -Hartree-Fock reaction matrices for nuclear matter, is transformed from momentum to coordinate space and applied in Hartree calculations of properties of ^{16 }O and ^{40}Ca. The results are similar to recent momentum space Hartree-Fock results from the Brooklyn College group using the same pseudoparticle interaction.
