Gravitational Radiation and Spiralling Time of Close Binary Systems - Part Five
Abstract
Forty-six binary systems with their primary component masses between 2M ☉ and 3M ☉ have been considered for gravitational radiation study. Power output by gravitational radiation (P B ) and spiral timeτ 0 for all individual systems have been evaluated. A relation has been given betweenP B andτ 0. The rate of decrease of orbital period (P) has also been given for 10 eccentric orbit systems.
