Interstellar scintillations of pulsars
Abstract
Observational data on interstellar diffraction and refraction scintillations of pulsars are analyzed. The observational data correspond to the theory of radio wave scintillations on the inhomogeneities with a broken power-law spectrum which has the turnover point corresponding to a spatial scale of about 10 exp 13 cm. The spectrum is steep at high spatial frequencies with the 3D power-index n(2) about 4.2. The power-law index at low frequencies is about 3.5.
