International Conference on Scientific Optical Imaging. Proceedings.

The papers presented at the conference focus on recent developments in optical imaging employing array detector technology. The papers are grouped under the following headings: spectroscopy, imaging, microscopy, and astronomy and technology. Topics discussed include analytical Raman and atomic spectroscopies using charge-coupled-device detection, industrial applications of spectroscopic imaging, coherent detection in confocal microscopy, a model of a thinned CCD, and acquisition and processing of digital images and spectra in astronomy.
