Problem of the resonance rotation of a celestial body in the gravitational field of two centers
Abstract
The problem of the rotation of a celestial body moving in a Keplerian circular orbit in a plane in the gravitational field of two attraction centers is investigated analytically. It is shown, in particular, that perturbations resulting from the effect of the second center of mass may give rise to resonance regimes. Equations describing the characteristics of the resonance rotation of the body are presented.
