Making an astrometric standard in the region of Cygnus.
Abstract
The procedure of making an astrometric standard in the area centered at α = 21h03m, δ = 52° is described. The work is based on photographic observations obtained with four wide-angle astrographs of the same type in accordance with the FON (Photographic Sky Survey) programme. Plates obtained with the 2-m Tautenburg Schmidt telescope were used for extension of the standard to faint stars (down to 22m). Positions and magnitudes of 1429 stars down to 16m in the field 4°x4° as well as of 699 stars from 15m to 22m in the field 3°x3° were determined. The catalogue has been punched on a magnetic tape at the Astronomical Data Centre of the Astronomical Institute, Academy of Sciences (Moscow).
