A method for solutions of characteristic equation for end crack of reinforcement rigid-fiber of composite materials
Abstract
The plane strain elastostatic problem for the end crack of the rigid fiber of composite materials is examined. A method to solve the characteristic equation obtained from the eigenfunction expansion method of stress functions is derived. Power numbers of all terms in infinite series of the stress functions are estimated.
