Noise and vibration control of a pneumatic pressure reducer
Abstract
A new method for controlling noise and vibration of a reducer is introduced in this paper. If stability factor S, is less than 1, noise and vibration will occur with the reducer. If Sr greater than 1, the reducer will not emit noise and vibrate. The calculation and the experimental results were compared. The validity of the method suggested in this paper is confirmed by the experimental results.
