Observations of the temperature of the radio sky from declination -30deg to +90deg at a wavelength of approximately 2 metres are described, together with the apparatus and the method of analysis. A radio map of brightness temperature contours is presented, a feature of which is the galactic centre at approximately 18 hours RA and -25deg declination.
