Ozone UV spectroscopy. I - Absorption cross-sections at room temperature
Abstract
Two new experimental techniques for measuring ozone absorption cross sections are described, and a complete and coherent set of data for the absorption cross sections of ozone at ambient temperature is presented for the whole spectral region within the 195-345 nm range. It was found that the new data agree reasonably well with those of Bass and Paur (1984) and of Molina and Molina (1986) and can be improved by using as a standard a new reference value proposed by Mauersberger et al. (1987) at 254 nm.
