Performance and jitter analysis of quadrature partial response/trellis coded modulation (QPR-TCM) signals in the presence of intersymbol interference and colored noise
Abstract
Partial response signaling and trellis coded modulation have been studied to improve both bandwidth efficiency and error performance. A new receiver for a data transmission system is described which is based on combined partial response/trellis coded modulation and combined 6QPR-TCM and 42QPR-TCM systems are presented.
