Abstract
The present conference on computational mechanics encompasses material behavior and related constitutive equations, fracture mechanics, composites, nonlinear analysis and dynamics, engineering structures, stability, fluid-structure interaction, geomechanics, numerical analysis, metal forming, and applications to micromechanics. Specific issues addressed include the energy of fatigue-crack growth, bifurcation phenomena in cohesive crack propagation, an acceleration method in elastoplastic finite-element computation, the solution of nonlinear finite-element equations, and the second-order eigensensitivity analysis of discrete structural systems. Also addressed are the computational micromechanics of multiphase materials, intrinsic component mode synthesis and plate vibrations, the Eigenproblem of liquid-container coupling, the rupture of powder materials under the power impact influence, and a numerical analysis for the failures of particle composites.
