Solar Dust Ring Observation at the Total Solar Eclipse in Mexico
Abstract
Optical observations of the total solar eclipse in Mexico in 1991 are reported. The preliminary polarization distribution map obtained shows high polarization at 4 solar radii in the ecliptic plane. The possibility of new constraints relating to dust grains surrounding the sun is discussed.
