Analytical model of the outer ionosphere
Abstract
An analytical model of the electron concentration distribution along a fixed power line of the geomagnetic field at altitudes greater than h(m) in the earth ionosphere is presented. To determine N(e) it is necessary to prescribe the temperatures of charged particles, parameters of the neutral atmosphere (concentration, temperature, and wind velocity), velocity rates for photochemical reactions, and the hydrogen ion flux along the geomagnetic field.
