Flux modulation conversion factors for infrared detector responsivity measurements
Abstract
The study analyzes techniques for IR detector responsibility measurements, and derives optical flux modulation (chopping) conversion factors. The front-view geometry of a laboratory chopper is illustrated. A Fourier analysis of the squarelike waveforms shows that each consists of a fundamental component at the chopping frequency and also of higher-order harmonics.
