The rotation of inner parts of spiral galaxies. NGC 4100, 4536, 5351, 6181, 7171, 7721.
Abstract
The radial distribution of the line-of-sight velocities of ionized gas at different position angles and rotation curves are presented for several normal spiral galaxies. It is shown that the nuclear regions (within a radius of several hundred pc) of most of the galaxies under consideration are distinguished by high or low velocity gradients, which is accounted for by a central mass concentration and/or the presence of an inner bar.
