Numerical simulations of supersonic plane Couette flow instability
Abstract
Results of numerical simulations of supersonic plane Couette flow at Re = 160 are presented. It is shown that at this Re and Mach number of 4.9, the flow reaches a steady state with strong density fluctuations.
