Retrieval of significant parameters from magnetic resonance signals via SVD (chapter 4)
Abstract
Work concerning SVD (Singular Value Decomposition) based spectral analysis of a nuclear magnetic resonance signal of blood for diagnostic purposes is presented. The method yields a significant improvement over conventional methods. However, the size of the data matrix to be decomposed is rather large. Therefore, exploitation of the underlying Hankel structure is wanted. So far, this is an unsolved problem.
