Numerical analysis of laminar flow in S-curved square duct with inlet and outlet straight region
Abstract
Developing laminar flow in a S-curved square duct with an inlet and outlet straight duct, is studied numerically by using a finite volume method. A power law scheme is used. In this study, the Dean number is 299, the curvature ratio is seven, and the S-curved duct has 22.5 degree respectively. Calculated results are compared with the experimental data by Taylor et al.
